Loopeto Limited acts as the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law. Content Policy

This Content Policy is part of Loopeto’s Trust & Safety Policies. It applies to all content you create, upload, submit or provide when using the Loopeto Platform — including listings, profiles, images/videos, messages, etc.

1. What “Content” Covers “Content” includes but is not limited to listings for items to give, sell, rent, or repair; photographs, videos, descriptions, reviews; your public profile information; and messages between members.
2. Content Rules & Standards You must ensure all content you post is honest, accurate, your own or licensed, and safe and lawful. You must not post content that is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, private data, spam, misleading, or infringes IP.
3. Content Ownership & Rights You retain ownership but grant Loopeto a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and display it on the platform. You can opt out of promotional use.
4. Public vs Private Visibility Some content is public (listings, reviews, profile fields); private messages are only visible to relevant users.
5. Moderation & Removal Loopeto may remove or hide content breaching this policy. Repeat breaches may result in account termination.
6. Messaging Rules Messages must follow the same rules as public content. Abuse, spam or harassment is prohibited.
7. Dispute & Reporting Report violations to support@loopeto.com. We will review and may contact both parties.

Review Policy

At Loopeto, reviews are central to building trust and safety within our community. Reviews allow users to build a positive reputation for the items they give, rent, sell or repair, and help others make informed decisions.

1. General Principles Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your own experience. Only write reviews after a completed transaction. Reviews must follow our Terms and Content Policy.
2. Prohibited Conduct No fake, self, incentivised or biased reviews. No copyright breaches. No multiple or fake accounts to post reviews.
3. Relevance and Respect Reviews must be relevant, respectful, and free from harassment, threats, hate speech, private data, off-topic content or rumours.
4. Responding Users may respond publicly to reviews provided responses are polite and constructive.
5. Reporting or Disputing Report reviews to support@loopeto.com. We may remove if they breach this policy.
6. Retention Reviews form part of a user’s profile history and may remain even after account closure.
7. Enforcement Breaches may result in removal of reviews or account suspension.
